Eligible ratepayers pay a waste service charge as part of their annual rates for Kerbside Collection. Kerbside Collection occurs once a week on a Tuesday for general waste and once a fortnight for recyclable items.
The 2024 Kerbside calendar can be downloaded here.
Keep your recycling simple and remember only 5 things go in your recycling bin
- Glass bottles and jars (lids removed)
- Cans
- Plastic bottles and containers (lids removed)
- Paper
- Cardboard (flattened)
Items must be rinsed, lids removed, and loose in the bin (not in bags).
Please do not put soft plastics, batteries or hazardous waste, clothing or rope in your recycling bin.
Soft plastics suitable for recycling can be dropped off at a supermarket collection point or disposed of in the general waste bin.
Containers for Change drop off points are located within the town sites of Bremer Bay and Jerramungup. Check local community groups for locations.
During the busy summer season in late December and early January, Kerbside pickup also occurs on a Friday in Bremer Bay. Kerbside pickup during this time is divided by streets, you can download the calendar for December and January here to see how it affects you.
