AUSTRALIA DAY COMMUNITY AWARDS

It's time to recognise the extraordinary members of our community who selflessly dedicate their time and energy to make a difference in our community or those who have achieved outstanding sporting achievements! Now is your chance to nominate someone you know who has made a difference.

The awards include 4 categories:

  • Australia Day Citizen of the Year
  • Australia Day Citizenship Award for a Community Group or Event
  • Senior Sports Person of the Year Award and
  • Junior Sports Person of the Year Award.

Nominations close on Monday 9 December 2024 at 4pm. The award recipients will be announced at the Shire of Jerramungup’s 2025 Australia Day BBQ Breakfast on 26 January 2025.

Australia Day 2024

What Australia Day means to each of us depends on who we are, where we come from, and how we came to be Australian. It is a day to reflect, respect and celebrate being part of our nation’s story.
We would like to congratulate all our nominees and award winners. Being nominated for an Australia Day award is an outstanding achievement in itself and we are extremely lucky to have such talented and dedicated people amongst us in our community.
