Paperbarks Picnic Area

Visitors to the Paperbarks picnic area will be pleased to see the facelift the barbecues have received, with new lids installed and paint applied. Work is also being undertaken on the public toilets close by. A new water tank and pump will be installed to ensure an uninterrupted future supply of water. The water to the toilets has until now come from the caravan park water supply, and as this has been undergoing an upgrade it has meant an interruption to the Paperbarks public toilets water supply. We had hoped to have the tank installed in time for the school holidays; however, a delay in completion of the water tank stand by the engineering company engaged to manufacture the stand has resulted in postponement of the tank installation. We regret this delay and apologise for any inconvenience it has caused.

Boxwood Hill Golf Club Renovations

Renovations to the Boxwood Hill Golf Club Rooms have now been completed. This work was funded by the Boxwood Hill Golf Club a Community Sport and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) Grant, Council funds and a great deal of volunteer effort and donations from members.

It is rewarding to see smaller communities benefit from the availability of this funding, enabling them to make improvements that would otherwise not be possible. Well done to the hard working community members who contributed time, money and effort to make this a reality.
